Parents often told scary stories about the Merman to keep the children away from the deep well full of water. They were saying that if a child gets too close, the monster will grab him and pull inside the well.

As a child the artist believed that this creature is living in a well, waiting for children to get closer. But now this tale has a deeper meanings to the artist. The meaning is difficult to explain as it is all related to human consciousness.
